About the Ministers
on our Council Matriarch of the Council
Revered Karen B. Paris was
ordained by the Ministry of Light Interfaith Church on December 7, 2005.
Reverend
Paris’ spiritual journey began as a youth active in her church junior choir, teaching children and attending youth groups
both mainstream and alternative.
Reverend Paris believes it is of the utmost importance that a church be
focused on meeting the individual needs of its members with out being judgmental and foisting beliefs on another requiring
them to change. She believes each persons spiritual journey is truly unique and deeply personal. She also believes a church
should create an environment of warmth, love and compassion. Reverend Paris has found that in The Ministry of Light Interfaith
Church.
Reverend Paris has an eclectic spiritual outlook and is also a High Priestess, Founder of the Circle of the Beloved
Moon, Reiki Master Teacher and Second Degree Cabot Witch. She is currently furthering her training taking classes in Holistic
Life Coaching, Shamanism and The Temple of Witchcraft with Christopher Penczak. Reverend Paris teaches
a wide variety of classes, provides spiritual counseling, Reiki sessions and is recognized by The Commonwealth of Virginia to officiate legal marriages.
Reverend Paris is a member in good standing of The International Association of
Reiki Professionals, International Massage Association Reiki division, a Witchvox Sponsor and co-owner of corporation top
20 rated by The Washington Business Journal. The class schedule and additional services provided by Reverend
Paris can be viewed at her website. Her online one stop metaphysical shop will be opening in 2009 and will be found at www.circleofthebelovedmoon.com.

Council Member Suzanne Peroustianis Suzanne's spiritual journey began with a affinity for animals, which taught her the importance
of being connected to nature. She rescued her first animal at the age of 4, and never stopped, working for years with the
Mid-Atlantic Great Dane Rescue League, and leading to the co-founding of a non-profit parrot rescue. After studying the major
religions of the world, she became Wiccan at the age of 21, formally studying the faith in England. She had the privilege of further studies under Arleen Denton,
where she got her Reiki Masters Degree in 1999. She is a certified animal trainer, and uses her Reiki skills to help animals.
She is furthering her spiritual studies with the non physical group known as Abraham. Suzanne's vision for the church
is to bring people of all beliefs together in a safe, loving environment for their enrichment.
Council
Member Reverend Krystyn Haydash

"A
story begins....A life unfolds. Which hat will be worn today? Reiki Master, Minister, Mother, Wife...Artist, Teacher,
Storyteller, Imajinist? Makes no difference for each persona helps make up the woman
known as Krystyn Haydash. Whole and full of curiosity, eager for the Now and all it entails…. Come, Let us wander
and get lost, discovering new paths and new ways of being.” Reverend Krystyn Haydash has been on a spiraling odyssey of truth since birth. She enjoys an Eclectic
lifestyle with leanings towards Zen/Shamanism as she feels that the answer to existence is not found in any one religion or
belief system, but in all aspects of life. Most days one can find her reading and learning
about ancient mythologies, studying herb lore, alchemy and spiritual symbolism and playing with crystals in her healing art.
She is currently an open
minded, homeschooling mother of two, a Stained Glass/Mixed Media artist and amateur Storyteller/Teacher who is continuously
amazed at the journey towards self. Bliss be yours as you shine your light!
Additional members of the Church Council include: Reverend Michelle Reverend Janet Reverend
Cynthia Due to the personal nature of each persons spirituality photos and bios are not available for all council members
at this time. We appreciate your understanding. Reverend Tina

Wish deepest sorrow we mourn the loss of our Founding MotherThose who meet Arlene Denton were profoundly changed
in a positive way. She was our Mentor, Mother, Sister and Friend. She founded our church based on love and acceptance and
through her ministry she led so many women to a place of healing, inner strength and peace. Arlene encouraged others to find
their true spiritual calling and service. Her loss is unfathomable and unexpected and we will all miss her greatly. We can
take great comfort in the fact that she is with us all in spirit. Arlene will continue to touch more lives as we continue
the work of the ministry encouraging deep spirituality, personal growth, acceptance and love. She left us prepared with a
great support structure of sisters on whom we can rely. I encourage you to reach out to each other and share the stories of
how Arlene made an impact in your life. Arlene would want us to celebrate her life as she celebrated life. Burial is
at Fairfax Memorial Park at 2:00 Thursday August 5
